Any mods that require the Stracker's Loader mod from the nexus will make the trainer unusable cause they ( Stracker's loader ) run the same scripts and thus conflicts with the trainer/editor. Currently you chose between running mods or using a trainer.
Interesting to note, but I'm not currently running any sorts of modifications to the game.
if I do not own iceborne I should use the normal trainer or iceborne trainer?
try the latest trainer first.
I'm not getting an error message of any sort or any type of pop up. Just a flat program exit and desktop. I'll try doing a fresh install and see what happens. With luck that'll be an easy solution.
Edit:
Game still crashes on a clean installation.
Also tried it on my laptop and had the same result. Crash to desktop without any error code at all.

I had the same problem too. Was waiting for the next update to test again before highlighting.

Latest trainer is tested working fine here with no crashes.
I loaded into game with trainer activated, loaded into mission, loaded back out of mission, etc. no issues here.
