Is anyone else having issues with the money option?

I've started the trainer.
I click on a planet.
Press numpad 1.
Trainer says "please wait"
Trainer says "failed"

Other trainer options work so I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong or if it's something with the trainer. Wanted to see if others were having this issue or had any thoughts on what I was doing wrong rather than making any assumptions and perhaps needlessly waiting the CH team's time if I reported it.

So I have started the trainer, started the game and pressed F1, got the activated sound and then started a new game. Tried to do the money option by clicking on a planet and pressing 1 and all I get is Failed. I even tried to press 1 and then buy out a production and I still got the failed thing. Am I missing something?

Game updated on the 12th to add Chinese, could have broken trainer functions.

Please use the update notification system to report a game patch, update or to report that the trainer may not be working with the latest version of the game. If 3 or more reports have been filed, consider BOOSTING the priority of this title for a faster turnaround on the updated trainer.

I have the same issue. I cannot get the mega money cheat to work. Also notice that once I turn on the tech cheat then turn it off. The game still had 1 turn for all tech research.
