Are you running a trainer you downloaded and it prompts the CHEATHAPPENS splashscreen, then suddenly closes? There is a reason!
Windows pushed out .net Core 3.1 Runtimes. Our trainers and a lot of software on the internet requires these Microsoft pre-requisites to be installed. Many games use these so some people may already have Core 3.1 installed. At any rate, this is safe and normal Microsoft libraries that their software and ours and many others use. Down the line it will likely be included in normal Windows 10 installs and updates. Once you do this, all our newest trainers that you download from now on will work, so it's do this once and then you are done with it.
Install both, then reboot, then try the trainer. Should be good to go.
I apologize that our trainer doesn't tell you that these are not on your system then prompt you to download them. We are still investigating why that doesn't happen, since Microsoft said that it would do this automatically.
We are using the newest and most efficient libraries as we continue to innovate and improve our trainers and our software and tools. This is one of the things that allows us to do that.
Anyways, thanks for your subscription and we look forward to bringing you more great trainers in 2020.

I'm having this problem where it's just coming up with the splash screen and then closing. I installed both the x86 and x64 versions and re-booted but it still doesn't work.
I also added C:/My Trainers to my Windows security exclusion list and shut down the real time protection just in case that was causing a problem.
Re-booted again but it is still the same, just get the splash screen and then closes.

Sorry PWizard, I found the problem. It was either MSI afterburner or RivaTuner causing the problem. Works fine now i shut them down.

Didn't help. Trainer still immediately closes. I've completely uninstalled my antivirus and tried both the x64 and x86, neither worked.

Strange. Check Windows Event Viewer for clues as to why your system is shutting them down.

Same problem ever since the .Net trainers came out. Have never been able to run a single one.
Spend about 5-6 hours doing everything suggested on this site and the web. Was really hoping this would be the fix but no dice.
The two errors thrown in the Windows 10 log are:
.Net Runtime
Application: 55834-wwargo-ATOM RPG Postapocalyptic indie game Trainer.exe Framework Version: v4.0.30319 Description: The process was terminated due to an unhandled exception. Exception Info: exception code c0000005, exception address 000001EAADEB32A0
The fact that it says it's using Framework Version: v4.0.30319 mightbe a concern but not sure on how/if I can change that....
Any help is appreciated.

Are all 3 of these installed?
Have both latest CORE Link (Both of the Net-Core MUST be installed x86 and x64) and FRAMEWORK Link from Microsoft.

It's shows that all three are installed.
Is there any way to force 4.8 to reinstall? I've run the .NET repair tool but that just says that maybe resetting the Microsoft install software might work. It didn't
Pretty tech-savvy so any suggestion should be fairly easy for me to try.
