Notes
-------------------------------------------------------
Item Box -> Selected Item:
Mouse HOVER the item in your item box, tab out and make your changes. Tab back in and reopen the item box to see it has changed. You can also mouse HOVER an empty slot to just add items to it without replacing existing.
Item Pouch -> Selected Item / Ammo / Material:
Mouse HOVER the item in your item pouch OUTSIDE of your item box, then tab out and make your changes. For streamstones and jewels add them to a MATERIAL slot. Then start a mission and complete it and they will be added as loot and become available (thanks @pelgrim).
Selected Equipment:
Go to your item box and click on 'Change Equipment' and mouse HOVER the equipment in the right grid, then tab out and make your changes. The 'Base ID' defines the type of equipment while the 'Upgrade ID' defines the upgrade/quality of the item. You must mouse over the item again to see changes. Be careful, entering IDs which dont exist in the game will result in a crash.
Selected Equipment Stats:
Same instructions as for 'Selected Equipment' however to make your changed stats become active you have to re-equip the item. Stats will reset after game restart.
Player Stats:
You should be able to edit it after editor activation. No instructions required.
Hunter Rank:
Editing rank directly will delay the level up. To avoid this you should rather modify the Hunter EXP and then complete a mission.
Wipe Item / Ammo / Material / Equipment Slots:
If you accidently added a broken item which remains on restarts and crashes your game at certain moments this editor lets you wipe / reset the slots. First mouse hover a slot next to the faulty slot, switch to wipe tab on editor and press the button, tab ingame and mouse hover the item slot. Tab back to editor and press button again. Equipment cannot be wiped instead only exchanged. Therefore enter VALID ids into the wipe equipment editor items first. Now do the same as described before.

Hi guys. I have a quick question. Lets say that I use Trainer/Editor in an offline game session, then want to go online without using them. My question is, is there a ban risk once I go back online without them? Thoughts and help greatly appreciated

You are allowed to maintain several characters at once. You can have one character for using the Trainers OFFLINE and having fun, and a second character for playing online with other people. Currently, MHW is even helping you make new characters by providing new free armor & weapons specifically intended for you to "power-level" before the next DLC release.
