Dumb question in case I'm misunderstanding: Is there a way to edit materials you already have in your item box? For example if I have a celestial wyverian print in my materials and I want to increase the number I have, how would I do that?
I go to sell items, then the materials tab, I mouse over the celestial wyverian print, tab to the editor, and it's just a whole bunch of ???'s in place. I can edit stuff in my item box under manage items but not in sell items. I was able to create it in my item box in normal items, then move it to my item pouch, then redo my loadout, and then it put the print in the materials box, but that seems like a lot of extra steps. I see it says something like "mouse hover the item in your item pouch OUTSIDE of the material slot" but I'm not sure how to get to your stored materials from your item pouch.
Before Iceborne, we had an option to edit materials in the item box. They didn't add that option back to Iceborne trainers. I think maybe its not possible anymore?
Current workaround is to add the materials you want into the materials box that opens up when you open item pouch. (its at the very bottom left side of the screen once you open item pouch)
It says in readme file,
"Item Pouch -> Selected Item / Ammo / Material:
Mouse HOVER the item in your item pouch OUTSIDE of your item box, then tab out and make your changes. For streamstones and jewels add them to a MATERIAL slot. Then start a mission and complete it and they will be added as loot and become available (thanks @pelgrim)."
I'll explain more if you are new to this.
Run the MHW Editor with the game - when you spawn in, press Esc - Item pouch - at the bottom left side is a materials box - Mouse over an empty slot and alt+tab to go to the editor - find the "Item pouch -> Selected Material" and you can see "ID and Quantity" options. - Find the ID for the materials you want to add - Add the amount you want into that slot your mouse is hovering over and then just do any quest. At the end of the quest, it will be added as a reward.
Kali_Noir found all the Item ID's for Iceborne.

Is the editor working?
And stopped for everyone after the update?
If it is no longer working, will there be an editor update?
In advance, I thank you all for the excellent work!
It has stopped working for me as well. Initially I thought it was just me as the Editor won't even finish launching any more, even if I just see if it'll come up without anything else running. Receives a .Net framework error, so maybe it is still me, but thought it best to report it as the other trainers/editors I try are launching & operating fine.
