Save game issues on Red Dead Redemption 2 PC Message Board - Page 1

Have any of you had issues with savegame becoming corrupted, it has happened two times now to me and i have been taking my time with my game progress and doing trapper stuff and challenges and now i lost a game progress sessions of 47% and done with the explorer and almost done hunting and such so not that interested in doing the game yet again.

So just wondering if it has happened to others using the trainer as well, or if i am just insanely unlucky.

I am an old gamer and i need my trainers to help me complete them these days so i have started to look at what trainer options i have for my games and Cheat happens tend to not disappoint so thank you for the game enjoyment i can still have.

With the sheer number of people using the trainer (10K+) I would think it's not the trainer or there would be a ton of people complaining about it.

WELL I CAN NOT SAVE AT ALL OR AUTO SAVE . SO DO ANYONE KNOW HOW FIX THIS PLZ TELL ME
BECAUSE LOL I KNOW THE FIRST 3 CHAPTERS OF THE GAME REAL GOOD NOW . JUST CANT SAVE
SO HELP PLZ

Yes, had the same issues, cloud saving will sometimes corrupt your savegames. There is no way to restore the corrupted save, as far I know. But when you load into Red Dead Online, you can access the load and save menue, where you can at least load an ealier auto-save or an manual save slot.

To avoid this bug, you have to disable the Cloud Saving Option, in the Rockstar Launcher settings.
