You can edit the resources via editing your save folder's JSON file, something to use while the awesome guys here at Cheat Happens work on a trainer. Save folder will be under steamapps\common\Wildermyth\players\[Your Player Profile Name Here]\story and going through the corresponding save folder. Resources should be listed after "campaignResourceType" tag.

Do you happen to know what to change to edit character stats? Especially age. It would be great to make our guys immortal. lol

Right click on your target character at the map and look at experience (under abilities) and age (below your target's name), save the game and open the save game with your text editor. Search for the Tag ["EXPERIENCE",XX],["AGE",YY] where XX is the experience of the target character and YY is the age of your target character. Please note they also have a life stage (earlyMiddleAge, middleAge etc...) that you may need to edit, I have not picked up on the game again so I have not tried how this will affect game progression so please backup your game before making any of the changes.
As for stats look for "roleStats" of your respective character, there should be two instances of it.

The "roleStats" stuff seems to be the personality bit. I was looking for things like Dodge, so to try and make a character impossible to hit.
As for the age, yeah, it seems a little odd. Wish the data was more clearly kept.

I have not experimented on those and have not played the game again but they should be part of the same JSON file, if I remember correctly there should be "aspect" per character. It kinda looked liked a flag for each of those aspects.

You can add a file called devmode.txt into the same folder where wildermyth.jar is. Start a new game and then you can enable cheat mode.
Enjoy!

Does enabling dev mode disable achievements?
