For those having trouble understanding why your cash resets to under $10.00 when using the Set Money On Pickup cheat, here are a couple reasons you may be having issues, and what to do about it. The following has worked for me since I started using the very first version of the trainer and continues to work with the lastest version.

Problem One: You pick up money (either from looting or selling) and you get your massive funds, then you buy something and your massive funds go under ten bucks.

Solution: First, make sure you have the Use Item Gives Max cheat OFF when buying anything. If that cheat is on, it will always reset your funds to less than 10 dollars. Second, once you have picked up money and your funds have equaled the value set in the cheat, turn it off. If you leave the cheat on and continue to pick up money, it will continue to remain at the value set in the cheat. Also, if you leave the money cheat on when buying things, similar to leaving the max item cheat on, it will reduce it to less than 10 bucks.

-Turn on to gain money, once you gain money, turn off.
-Do NOT BUY anything with either Use Item Gives Max OR Set Money on Pickup cheats set to active.

Problem Two: Money cheat either doesn't work, or resets and I did not even buy anything!

Solution: Do not set the value any higher than 99999999 (8 digits). While I am not certain of the exact max value the game will register as I have not extensively tested it, there is a max capacity to how much cash you can have at any time in the game. As with previous Rockstar games of this nature, that value is arbitrary, but set at a respectively high value so if you ever get close to it, it is obvious you are cheating (or working the stock market REALLY well in GTAV). By keeping the custom value no higher than 8 numbers long, you should have no issues.

If neither of these problems or solutions are working for you, you are either not doing them right, or you have another problem, but these seem to be the most common problems I see from reading all the posts in the main topic (yes, I have read every single one so far)

Also be aware:

you need to alt tab out and press option keys.
the game hijacks keypresses in fullscreen mode so it might not work when pressing hotkeys.

Related topic for those looking to infinite craft items.

You need to have at least one of each material needed for crafting, but if you have at least one, go into crafting and turn on Use Item Gives Max (and for "safety" go into the editor and lock the Mouse Over Inventory to at least a number of 1 or more) and you can craft anything in your inventory. If it is ammo related, I would also recommend turning on Unlimited Ammo to be safe that you will not lose any Ammo as you craft as well.

When done crafting, do not forget to turn OFF the Use Item Gives Max (and probably unlock the Mouse Over Inventory Count as well) unless you are actively intending to use an item and want to keep the maximum items. Just keep in mind, that cheat will reduce your cash to under ten bucks if you do not turn it off when buying things (reiterated because it seems it needs to be).

Obviously, you do have to have purchasued or collected at least one of each material needed for this to work, but this is a way to craft as much as you want when you do have mats to do so without having to gather the mats in greater numbers.

You can even "Break Down" animals into more mats for those that have the option this way and keep the original animal in your inventory.

Kudos to CasualCheater who actually take the initiative and effort to open a new message board to address this money issue that have plagued so many players. Well done Sir !

Unfortunately, despite following all the suggestions here and from the main forum, the money still reset after I make a purchase. Yes, I did turned off Item Give Max before going to the vendor. Yes, I did turned off Money On Pickup before buying any stuff. Even set money to just only 1000 and still money reset.

Will keep trying other options and settings hopefully can find a solution soon.

The hotkeys work fine, as long as you open the trainer AFTER you've loaded into your game. I start RDR2, load my game, and as soon as Arthur is controllable I ALT+TAB out and start the trainer, then ALT+TAB back into the game and the hotkeys work as designed.

If you start the trainer before starting the game, or start the trainer while at the main menu, the game inhibits the use of the hotkeys.

Hope this helps those who are having issues using the NumPad buttons.

You set the money to a $10.00 value and it reset? What may I ask did it reset to? I noted the first time I successfully used the trainer I thought I set it to $5,000 because I entered 5000 into the box. Went in game and picked up some cash and it advanced it to only $50.00. Afterwards I added a few more zeros as I noted it counts the last two digits of the value in the box as the cents. So if you wanted $1,000 total you should set the value in the box to 100000. Then pick up cash to advance it, turn off the stated options and then try to buy something. It's worked pretty flawlessly for me, and as long as I don't forget to disable those two options the money has stayed with me since I gained it.

I'm not high anymore, but in online cheats work too. 🐱‍🚀🐱‍👤

CH prohibits any cheating in online modes, but be aware that if you get banned in game, it is your responsibility and your fault. 🐱‍👤👌
