not sure what i'm doing wrong but i get "failed".
-ran the trainer
-then ran launcher, clicked ok on the "make sure your trainer is running already" prompt
-then another popup comes up and says to launch gears
-i launch it then click ok and launcher vanishes completely( not sure if its suppose to do that)
-click f1 at main menu and i get failed

as the above quoted post states, I am running into the same issue as the trainer will not work. this is while using the game pass beta launcher or the xbox console compainion does not allow the "ch gears 5 laucher" to attach to the game (it auto closes after a few seconds after pushing ok after running the game).

Has anyone using the microsoft store launchers gotten the trainer to work?

So I figured out how to make it work for me. Basically you have to completely disconnect from the internet before launching the game which will basically make it so EAC won't load. Then the launcher will work and the trainer can be activated. Afterwards you can then reconnect online so you can still use the internet for other things but the game will remain offline.

I can confirm as well that the Windows Store/Xbox game pass version does not work with the trainer. The launcher does not stay open after the game launch, and won't let the trainer activates.

Thanks! that worked great the problem was that i was connected to the net and eac was on.
so all i did was go into control panel settings and disable the Ethernet port i was using.
after that just followed the steps and worked like a charm.
thanks for the reply! you can reactivate your internet after but gears will not reconnect to the servers since eac is not running.

For me it still shows I'm online and shows my friends list but I don't think I can connect to any online games since as you said EAC is off.

Many, many thanks for creating this trainer!

Trainer was made and tested with the WS/Game Pass version of the game and works when instructions are followed. You can also try some of the other solutions that have been posted in this thread. Game uses EAC to prevent cheating and so we have to jump through some hoops to make it work.
