given that the generations skill transfer is directly affect by the amount of babies, there is probably an actual number to detect, I duno if theres a base amount plus babies, or if you can only transfer as many skills as babies, I will have a play with it, see if I can dupe the game into thinking ive got more babies, or ignore the counter.
If you can have a look at neuro energy as well, im not sure how the evolution tree works but the pool of energy you buy things with seems doable.

None of this means anything to me. I have no idea what to do, what is going on, the HUD is useless and unintuitive, there is no real tutorial that helps worth anything, and it looks like this game is mostly a time sink ape reality sim which is not good for people like me who work 18 hours a day and only have so much time to devote to titles.
I mean if someone has a usable save that is shareable with points and tells me how and where to spend them and has it real easy for me to do that then maybe I can try something.
Otherwise this game was not the simplest to work with and is time suckage..

when you are on the evolution screen there is a giant white circle in the middle, this increases and decreases in size when you earn or spend points, I figured it would be similar to how you found the values for health, hunger, sleep etc, given they too are circles with no visible values.
For generation skills, when you choose to progress to the next generation, you get to transfer (reinforce) skills, and the number you can, is determined by the number of baby monkeys in your clan.
Jeez Cal, your not getting to old for this are you?
"when you are on the evolution screen"
I literally have seen no such screen, just the main interface where you run around, eat, drink, pick up stuff and examine, etc.. this is totally boring to me, sorry guys..

When you're laying in a bed, you can open the neural/generation/evolve screen. First screen is the neural screen. If you scroll out you'll get in to the generation screen. Scroll out once more and you'll get the evolution screen.
In the nerual screen the big circle in the middle contains the nerual points. You spend them to get new skills. To get more neural points, you have to piggyback a child while running back and forth in the river (walking on 2 feet).
Generation screen has reinforcement skillpoints. You get more of them by mating and getting more babies.
Evolution.. I have no idea yet.. Haven't done that yet
