So, as per my last post in regards to the crashing. It seems to happen if you die and restart at the checkpoint. After engaging in combat, whether rolling away from attacks, shooting them in the crotches and so on, it'll crash the game. At least, it has for me.

be careful, certain parts of the game may be scaled to your levels, also if done improperly can scale certain boss (apparently) to high levels as well.

yes, but I then used the trainer option to lower my level, and its only your level that scales the enemies it seems, at a boss your right the scaling made it impossible to kill, but when I used the trainer to lower my level to 100 I killed a boss in about 10 hits.

I just picked up a trait that reduces ranged dmg, with the same edit, im now invulnerable to ranged dmg, I imagine theres probably one for melee somewhere too.

So ive noticed that the enemies in this game actually scale to your armor/weapon level, not trait level. I tested this by creating a fresh character, using the cheat that lets me upgrade weapons and armor without needing the proper mats and boosted all my weapons and armor to +20. Went out to the very first zone, thought id be one shotting mobs, but NOPE! The mobs took the exact same amount of hits to kill with a +20 weapon as they did with a +1 weapon. Same with mob damage. I figured after upgrading all my armor to +20, thus increasing my base armor from 9 to 377 id be taking literally no dmg. But again...NOPE! The very first trash mobs were chunking me for 1/3rd of my hit points with their basic attacks, just like they were when i had 9 armor.

Really stupid how the Devs coded this game. There is literally no point to loot/upgrades in this game when you cant feel stronger as you progress. The mobs literally get more dmg and more health everytime you upgrade your weapons and armor.

Thanks again for another fast turn around and great trainer. The editor functions are not showing the right value, except for the level of the specific trait that can be edit. The other editor selections show incorrect values and I am unable to edit. I see I am not the only person with this issue. I have read through the forum and played around with the menu. Since it appears not everyone has this issue, so I am wondering about user error. IS the editor just automatically working for people or is there a small trick? I have gone to the trait menu to compare. Any help would be great.

Are you using the legally purchased Steam game that is up-to-date and matches trainer version? If not, then that is your issue.

Oh yes, using a legally obtain copy from steam. I am sure it will workout. The rest of the trainer works. I'll keep playing around. Thank you for the reply.
