There are a couple quirks in how the editor works. First of all, don't start with the first unit in an army. It tends to crash. Start with the last. Open the army and click the last unit. Then click on a mod slot. Then tab out to the editor and put the level in AND LOCK IT. Do not leave the cursor on that item, put it on another item you don't care about (also tends to crash if you forget). Then go back and click on a mod slot again. It will show the new level an 0/whatever xp needed. Tab out to the editor and change the XP and lock that too and move the cursor. Back to the game, hit escape. Then look at the army again, it should be it's new level and xp. Any similar units? Just click them, click a mod slot and hit escape. Do NOT click on a different unit. Instead, tab out to the editor and unlock level and xp, THEN repeat the process with the different unit.

With hero unit skills it is a little different and tends to crash if you don't do it right. Select the unit, tab out and give it say 500 skill points and lock it. Go back to the game and choose all your skills and confirm. Tab out to the editor and unlock the skills. If you forget, when you go back none of the selections you made will stick. Finally, after all skills are verified, go back and set the skills to zero (in case of future sanity checks).

This thing of needing to move the cursor effects other things to. For example, accumulated food. If you set one colony's food level and then forget to move the cursor, when you go to a different colony, the trainer will misreport the amount of food it has, so always move the selected item to something you don't care about after you change it.

So how does the editor option to change population work? I select city, change population in editor (to within the max capacity), and deselect the city. When I reselect the city game crashes. How have those of you who've gotten it to work been doing it?


I have the same issue. Except mine crashes when I complete my turn.

Do you lock the value with TAB when editing?

I have the same issue here when changing the population this is true for version 1.006. Select city -> change population value has been tested with all values from +1 to the max population -> press tab to apply changes switch to game, game crushes. Has been tested as well with selecting city change value freeze value then unfreeze, then the game will crush if i navigate to population tab or end my turn. Any solution to this?

Was just added to Game Pass - will test current available trainer & report back.

Yeah would love to know what you find out about the game pass version. Thats something I would love to get my hands on to use.
