The only good thing about this game that I have heard so far is that the graphics and art direction are fantastic. The gameplay, in particular the level-gatekeeping, dialogue and "quests" suck, or so I've been told.
My question is, does the trainer make the game more fun and make some of the more annoying aspects of the game tolerable/irrelevant? Obviously it can't save the cringe inducing writing, (as incredible as that would be) but you know generally.

awefull gameplay
bulletsponge enemies, which god forbid, if you use the wrong type of weapon, is even more bullet sponge
Bulletsponge bosses with 1 shot abilites
No minimap, nor any indication if you're going into a high lvl area, untill you run into enemies that instagib you
horrible rpg elements that completly ruined what a wolfenstein game is
enemy respawns literally infront of you, and they respawn fast
ALOT of backtracking in the same 4-5 areas, with the same enemies to clean up every time
wanna play solo?, have fun with an AI partner with the IQ of a newborn
if i haven't made myself clear yet, stay away from this game

I think it's a good game, a lot of fun if you can find someone to play with. Sure, this game has it's share of problems.
The most annoying one is if you do a search mission, and your partner quits mid gameplay. Currently I can't complete the Zitadelle floppy disks mission because I already have them, but the mission says I don't so no markers appear and I can't complete the mission...
As for the bullet sponge enemies.. If you use the right weapon and aim for their head they go down quit quickly. For the mechanical enemies you need to know their weakspots, which are shown if you pick up the mini-laptops scattered around the maps. If you have ammo for the special weapons and have upgraded them with the fast repeater upgrade they almost die instantly. Even taking on Zitadelle's is a walk in the park.
The quests are a bit boring and it usually involves going back to the same places over and over, which is why it's best to gather as many quests as available, and do them all at once, if you are at a specific region.
Overall it's really enjoyable and fun with a co-op partner to play. Never can get enough throwing hatchets while invisible XD

even when you remove 5 % for the people who can't handle females in a game, it still sits on a 47 % review rating
it just soooo good 😆

its not as bad as some of the reviewers are saying, but with that think of all the stuff gamergate was complaining about (mostly that one girl and her podcasts) those things have been addressed in this game and can get a bit cringy.
Has the normal annoyances (really hate the doors), poor programing (right key sticks or fails to work sometimes and breaks very often in the classic wolfenstein), pretty bad clipping, enemies spawn very quickly and sometimes pop in right in front of you, very grindy as you only collect 1-3 coins at a time while everything costs alot, and graphics are not very impressive at all.
Was able to play this in almost maxed out settings on my 1050ti with well over 60FPS and with my 2070 sitting at over 200FPS maxed out sitting at around 20% gpu / 60% cpu.
P.S. Am I the only one who hates the elevator + all the damn doors (I will litterally go out of my way to find the long way around)
