I backed up my saves before I got the money option to work and had to revert when it added too many coins. 90k or around that is a lot better so you can still pick up coins scattered about. I do not always have luck pressing decimal and sometimes it crashes the game still but if it was 90k instead of an extreme amount that you could never spend I can always try to add more again later if needed.

if picking up coins for whatever reason is of importance to you, then likely an option basically giving you all the coins you would ever need should probably not be used.
I am not always able to guess how 'little' or 'much' people want to cheat in their games. As soon as I pick too low, 100 people ask for higher, etc.
The option works like it does for a reason now.

Well this is the oddest thing, on my 3rd try (restarting trainer and game) pressing decimal changed my currency to beyond 999999 (max it will display it seems). Sadly it is too high to keep picking up more coins once you have spent some of them. And I really do not think my system has memory problems.

Yeah. It was better when the option to change money was in the editor section.
it was better when the developer didn't try to add useless time wasting code to encrypt the value, like they did for health, ammo, etc.
this works and I gave plenty to avoid people saying it's not high enough.
it takes 1 second to reset your amount, by just toggle on then press J. Poof, it's reset to 999999 or whatever.

Hello,
Why was the money option removed from the Editor tab? I accidentally pressed the unlimited money key and now the money is set at 999,999,999 I assume because I can only see until 999,999. But whenever I buy something nothing changes.
Because the money is set to such a high number it makes the game unplayable as I pick up coins, presumably due to overflow errors. Couldn't this be set to a reasonable number like 99,999 or something?
Is the money option coming back to the Editor tab? I really hope so, or at least an option to set money to 0 so I can play the game again.
Regards
EDIT: SydBarrett seems to have the same problem.

no the editor is not coming back, because the game is storing the value in multiple addresses and encrypting it.
If you want your money to be lower, then I can do that when it inevitably patches again, which actually may eventually do away with the coins being able to be done locally (i.e. they move it to the server)
if you feel like your coins value gets messed up or something, just toggle the option back on, and boom you reset it to 999,999,999 or whatever

Hi Cal,
The problem is that during the playthrough you pick up coins and that leads to I guess overflows or something. So at some point during the playthrough the game waits when you try to access a terminal or even just go to Journal. Just endless and endless amounts of waiting until whatever you accessed appears.
When this happens all the graphics also all become blurred and I basically have to do a ALT-F4 to quit the game because it's no longer playable.
Can't there be a trainer patch now to just set money to 0, I really don't want to wait for whenever they decide to patch the game again. I tried altering the money amount using CosMos without any luck. As you said they store the values into multiple variables and also keep track of the delta of picked up coins so they can compare previous money value to current money value.
Or is there someone here who can give me something I can load into CosMos to set money to 0 or CoSMOS. I would be really grateful. Thank you.
Regards

I still haven't gotten the Banker Achievement (Find 60,000 coins.) Once I've gotten that, being unable to pickup more will not matter in future replays. I'm not even positive what the highest price thing you can buy is, but I'm pretty sure its a ways under 10,000.
