We have a new update as of today, will test it shortly and see if anything new cropped up!

Edit, can confirm the 4th member of my party still does not receive the benefits of the trainer. Have not had the Fatal Error issue yet, will add another update if it hits.

Edit 2, unfortunately, looks like the Fatal Error issue still exists with the Super SP option as well 🙁

OK, I may have some workarounds for the two aforementioned problems.

If you are experiencing the Fatal Error crash, disable the Super SP option when not in battle (I just turned it on when I needed more SP, then disabled it once they went to 9999). The crash seems to occur when you have Super SP on at the START of a fight, so just turn it off at the end, or use it to refresh SP and then turn off until you're out again.

If your effects are not working on your 4th party member, you must dismiss anyone you are having follow you with guide. They are taking up a party slot, and the trainer recognizes your party member as a 5th person, and thus does not work!

    Hope this helps.

Edit: After another test, if you want to use Guide or Allure to get a follower with you, you can place them in the 4th slot and it will let the trainer affect all 4 people still. The follower just appears as the 5th and doesn't matter in that case. Naturally this means that if you use Guide and Allure at the same time with Prim and Ophilia in your party, someone will be missing trainer effects...so split them up.

Edit 2: It does appear that the Super SP option WILL eventually cause a crash, but I was able to make it 3-4 hours without that happening, and I forgot to turn it off at the end of combat a couple times, which may have contributed. Either way, if you remember to use it sparingly, you should be able to avoid most of the fatal crashes.

Did some further testing hoping to find another workaround for the Super SP option, manually changed the value in the trainer (from 9999 sp) to the max SP of my lowest party member (Olberic, at 56 SP), and left it on. Was hoping that the crash error was a result of the game constantly trying to boost above the max for everyone outside of battle, but unfortunately, still got the crash error...so use the previous workaround of only turning it on when needed IN BATTLE, and that should bring crashing to a minimum.

On another note, I'm not sure whether or not the Super HP option also is causing this crash, I've been leaving that off on my end. If anyone has been using only that option, it would probably be helpful for the site mods to know if that's causing issues as well I know that Super BP does NOT cause issues, as I've been leaving that on nonstop with no problems.

I think it's because the trainer is trying to keep the options working on ALL party members. How many members can you have in your party max?

Can anyone tell me if they can repeatedly crash the game at a specific encounter or spot or situation that they have a savegame for and I can repeat? How many were in your party?

What if the trainer only worked on two or three members max?

    best,
    Cal

So the party can have 4 people in it, BUT two characters (Primrose and Ophilia) can "recruit" temporary party members with their Allure/Guide commands; that's what threw off the trainer at first in it not working for the 4th party member, since the game clearly considers the temporary NPC as a hidden character somewhere in the code. There is also H'aanit, who has beast companions that, as far as I can tell, do NOT count as an extra party member, but whether or not it throws off the trainer, I can't really say for sure.

As far as what I've tested, the crashing problem with the Super SP option enabled option doesn't necessarily occur at a guaranteed point, just after a certain number of battles with it enabled all the time before the game has some sort of freak out. As I noted above, as far as I can tell, it's some sort of conflict that may be caused by something at the start of battles. Almost every crash I had was after the "whoosh" effect that signaled a fight, the screen would fade to black before game errored. I did encounter SOME exceptions where it would crash mid-fight when using Olberic/H'aanit's Challenge/Provoke commands to fight a 1v1, but every time that happened, it was after I'd forgotten to turn the option off when combat ended a few times, so I really think it's linked to having it on when combat starts.

I've linked my save game to this post, hopefully it helps. I already have Ophilia set in the 4th character spot, though I can't remember offhand if she has one of the extra NPCs following her (if she does, the trainer should still affect her since she's in that spot).

Thanks for taking a look at this!

See my above posts It's a problem that exists between the trainer and the game itself (I would guess Denuvo is to blame); some options just can not be left on 100% of the time. Super BP and Damage appear to be ok, but Super SP (and potentially HP, I'm not sure since I don't use that) will crash the game eventually if left on outside of combat. I've spoken with Calibur outside of this thread, and the problem looks like one that can't be solved on the CH end, so the workarounds I mentioned before will have to work in the meantime.

So, turn those options on only inside combat, and deactivate them when the fight ends. I would suggest burning your SP/HP to lower levels, and only using the options to recharge them as needed, that will make your life a bit easier and should help avoid the crashes as much as possible.
