Anyone know how to use the trainer to hold your HP/SP at a certain level within a battle? Seem to only be able to set it high outside fights, then the first time you are hit or use magic, you get dropped back to your normal level and it will decrease from then on like normal.
Kind of worried to permanently modify any character stats as I've seen it mentioned it can mess your game up. I think main useful options in the trainer are only the money and JP modifiers. And I guess it's nice to be able to reset your HP/SP outside battle for free healing.
Those few things so make the game a bit easier to play, but unfortunate there are not options for invincibility/unlimited SP in battle, without taking the risk of breaking your game by setting your stats crazy high.

if it's resetting then I will have to take a look at it. But that wasn't my experience.. I sat here taking damage by using defend 10 times in a row and it didn't reset anything..
not sure what you mean?

Is there a technical reason why a no encounters option wasn't included?
you can ask for literally anything, but come on guys. we can't just do anything we want with any engine. Some stuff just isn't possible with normal trainer programs and unreal scripted games like this. If people want to mod the actual scripts or lua script some big complex thing then be my guest. We did a LOT for this game, especially considering its coded in unrealscript for almost everything. Gathering function points or base addresses via actual code injection points is not a joke on this game.

Is it possible to look into item duping?
The problem with editing the raw stats is unforeseen consequences down the line well past the save you made before cheating. This was evident on the Switch.
Being able to dupe nuts would be a better method of increasing your stats and having the game take into account the gains then to edit the values directly. Unless they fixed these issues from the Switch you may encounter bugs like getting one round KOd or bosses becoming impossible to beat.
so, editing raw stats might have unforseen consequences, but editing items in your inventory wont? I mean these games never have missions or scripted events based on inventory items. How is editing the values directly been a problem? You can literally edit them back. You can go from level 1 to 99 then back to 1 in 60 seconds. I have no idea what problems will occur from using our cheats or any other people's trainers or tables, but the honest answer is that you nor they know either, until you do stuff with them. Unfortunately this isn't the only game we are working on, nor the only game that was funded the last 48 hours. I have a lot more work here than you can possibly imagine. I am doing the best with the time and the engine given to me. I can't fathom how there is any section of this game or any hostile that you cannot defeat using this trainer. If giving yourself level 99 instantly (which makes you super character) somehow makes the bosses impossible to beat, I have no idea why that would occur. Close the game, reset yourself to level 1, then go back in and try again.
I don't even know what 'nuts' are. I cannot play these games for 45 hours to get to everything. I hope you guys will appreciate that I also didn't make the trainer in 10 minutes either. It takes a lot of time and skill to make a trainer like this for a game like this, and I am not just working on this one title constantly.

็How many option can a person vote to add?
This game trainer seem to lack many aspect that we usually seen in other trainer, even if vote 1 function probably not be enough.
I made a REAL ACTUAL trainer, not a lua script pointer driven table that depends on third party software and hard-coded base addresses and pointer chains that can and likely will be all broken during the first patch of this game.
Just because you ask for something or it was in game 'x' JRPG in the past doesn't mean we can make that in every game similar to it forever.
I don't think people appreciate the difficulty with a title like this and making an actual self sufficient TRAINER for it. Only people trying to use Cosmos to make their own options will appreciate it.

the editor you could make a super character, and then take them into battle and be for all intents and purposes undefeatable and super damage.
however, due to people asking, I took the time to make more options for the battle portion of the game, even though it may in some instances cause crashes (although I tested quite a bit with out any).

I'm really disappointed in this trainer honestly, as someone who spent 17,250 credits on it... I mean wow... pretty terrible options.
There's another program table out right now if you Google it, way better options, you can set every item in your inventory at whatever value you want so long as you already have 1 of the item.
The author just added in an item editor so you can give yourself the ribbon that stops encounters right at the start of the game.
You can temporarily adjust your level for Therion and Cyrus at 99 in town to get 100% steal / scrutinize rates, works with every characters path action as the success rate is based on your characters level.
There's a BP/HP/SP lock system so you're always maxed out and have infinite of all 3 things... The infinite BP breaks the game alone because every attack is super boosted at level 4 all the time so you're always doing insane damage.
I'm not posting links to the table because I could get banned but you literally just Google "Octopath Traveler another programs table" and you'll find the result. Right now the author has it at version 4.5 and there's every option you basically need to kill the game.
He also has an XP and JP multiplyer as well so you can boost your characters pretty quickly after a single battle. I understand the guys here at CH are busy as hell but these options literally don't do much of anything fun.
Do not post another other memory editor names other than our own

This post almost caused me to retire the game right out. I spent hours and hours on this TRAINER. It will be evident as time goes on the troubles with other people's work.
We also have every option you would need to kill the game. But no, I didn't take the last 48 hours and write down ID codes for the 1000 items in the game. I have a large website and 10000 other titles to work on.
I am sorry to be so defensive, but people think every game and every situation in the trainer coding world is the same. It's not.
