The only reason I don't like digital is because the evergrowing fear of steam or some other store closing down and losing all the games with it. I have a large library but its just a scary thing to imagine.
I understand your worries but I don't think steam will disappear that fast. 🙂
The only thing I'm worried about is to get hacked and all games are lost!😥

I prefer digital copies, because you can get them much cheeper from keyresellers as in physical store and download them whenever you want and don't have to deal with the discs. Also its much faster for downloading/installing as from discs.
I bought my last PC without a physical drive because of money.... but I later upgraded It that I can at least play older games I got physical copies of.

Hehe, I never used it to play older game just for watching DVD's. 😀
I actually buy them to have it digital😇
