You can do level 8 for most offciers the radio officer i think they can be 6 play with it to see what it takes to max all their skill points for all their upgrades under the skills section. The game never once crashed on me once I went over whatever the said level was i just had extra skill points I couldn't spend
It's not about the game crashing, it's about the officers being bugged out as I explained in an earlier post, when you tamper with their levels above a certain level. I suggest you find my earlier post and read up on it.
If you take them off the boat and put them back on, they will not function at all. They'll be permanently ruined.
