They 'updated' the trainer on the release date but evidently did nothing/not much and certainly didn't check if it was actually operational. Instead they updated to keep up appearances and safely assumed it would work on the full release whilst it was already wonky on EA. I swear I recall these guys used to be so much better at this.
The game had a patch just after the trainer was rolled out you could see it in the patch version which now says 2024.1 Patch 1 and before only said 2024.1(which the trainer properly was made for)
It was already not working on 2024.1, the fact it now received a patch doesn't change any of this. I was also the 3rd to file a report in the list of now 16.
I'm also getting the same error as the above.
I cannot use the trainer for thos reason.
Trainer has 12 reports so chances are it doesn't work atm.
Make reports instead of forum posts, that helps more.
Please use the TRAINER UPDATE NOTIFICATION SYSTEM to report a game patch, update or to report that the trainer may not be working with the latest version of the game. If 3 or more reports have been filed, consider BOOSTING the priority of this title for a faster turnaround on the updated trainer.

Having the same issue. I also noticed that unlimited crew healt and ship repair cause bugs. Officers will no longer heall injured crew members and leaks in your ship will be attended too but simply arent fixed. Im sailing around with 4 leaks that wont fill up the ship but also dont go away.
Sailers that are injured will die because no officer will heal them

this game is very complicated coded so i'm not sure how to fix this, i'll see what i can do but no promises.
