While yes everything else still works, and the issue is speed hack does not. I would like to put it out there that I purchased the lifetime then lifetime plus package for the sole reason to make the request, the request that an attack speed hack gets put in. Hopefully soon I will be able to see that option come to fruition in the game.
While there isn't a way to affect walking speed right now, with some tinkering which I won't divulge out of respect to the forum rules, there ARE ways to cast and attack like a character possessed, and it's too ridiculous. Said tinkering also provides other bonuses which can only be used STRICTLY offline. The trainer as is provides everything you'd ever need in the game imho.

No need for attack speed hack. You have to look in the skills and organize the build well, even the armor items that can help you with this.

Yes, but we still update it periodically like we did today.
