5150Dragon
Thanks for the fast turn around on this guys!
The trainer is changing Golden Key values, but I had 40 (not the 50 I had listed). I exited the game and restarted it, loaded my game, and now I have 10 keys, which is the difference between what I set in the trainer and what I had in game.

I'm having the same issue as 5150Dragon; the trainer seems to work initially when changing the keys amount, BUT if the game is exited and then restarted, the key values will be back to the original amounts. The keys do not seem to persist through a full game exit.
In Borderlands 2 and Pre Sequel, I remember the keys were contained in the profile.bin file and could be edited using a special profile editor. Could this be true for BL GOTY as well? And maybe why the trainer keys don't survive a game restart, if they're only in memory rather than editing the profile.bin?
UPDATE - I think I got the keys to stick even after exiting the game. The trick was to make sure I spent at least 1 key after editing the amount, and before exiting the game, and the added keys seemed to stay after that.

This would make sense, if the situation with keys is as you suggested. If the trainer is editing memory, but the key tally is normally kept in a .bin file to be referenced, then when you use a key it would likely update the .bin file with the new key amount from memory.
