I can confirm that if you pause the game right after loading, then activate the cheats again, you can salvage your save.
What I did is : go to every building with ongoing production, then start production on new items to activate the cheat and make these items cost zero resources. Then cancel all item production, save and quit and deactivate the trainer.
Good luck trying that on hardcore though, no pause so you'll have to be really fast...
The most useful cheat for this game is simply using a memory edit software like cosmos to modify the available resources in various mines and piles of stone or flint.
The values are stored as 4 byte integers, and that was more useful to me than any trainer option, though the trainer is nice too of course !

so instant placing of whatever building you want with no materials needed, crafting of whatever you need with no materials needed, keeping your villagers at 100%, and them not getting old and dying are not useful?
Do you know how long/hard it was to do these?
I love the "invulnerable buildings/no repair" and the Fill stats one is ok if you just use it out of combat and turn it off whenever there is an animal or raider attack.
The fuel & easy crafting options do cause save issues if you ever use them. It is possible to save the file sometimes, but it isn't consistent. If I avoid those 2 options then I have no issues with the trainer.
Another odd thing is that the easy build option leaves the building with only partial UI control due to it thinking it still needs materials. I tend to avoid that one or clear the buildings right after. You don't get any materials back since none were used, so sometimes it is good for emergency housing
Thanks for the info! Thanks CH for the trainer

I only bought this game because of the trainer. With your options I'm having a blast! Thanks Caliber!!!!!!
Guys remember to turn continuous production OFF and make sure nothing is being crafted or built before saving if you used the trainer.
best,
Cal
Just saw this - thanks Cal, explains why I was having so many crashes until I started over and didn't use those options.
