No sound has been bothering me for a while but I found out that because I'm using N versions of Windows 10 it doesn't come with the The Media Feature installed which the new trainers use. I installed it and what do you know all the sound features work. Thought I'd pass it on. The Media Feature Pack for N versions of Windows 10 is available for download as an Optional Feature. To install the Media Feature Pack, navigate to Settings > Apps > Apps and Features > Optional Features > Add a Feature and find the Media Feature Pack in the list of available Optional Features. Note, you will not be prompted to restart your computer, but you must restart in order to successfully complete installation of the Media Feature Pack.
could we get this added to the trainer troubleshooting page please? After making some system changes to lower resource usage this was bugging the ever living crap out of me and I could find no easy solution for it though I did finally find this thread after some work. But in the meantime I had wasted time reinstalling a bunch of crap that I didn't need.
tldr: add to the problem with trainers wiki. There is no intuitive leap that would suggest the lack of sound in a trainer is related to windows media player being uninstalled.
