Hmmm.... I am running into the same issue. I have cleared out cache and and deleted the trainer and downloaded it once more. Every time I launch the trainer manager it has "update available" shown, but keeps failing. I need to try messing with it a bit, see if I can get it to work. Have you done much else to try and get it to work properly?
EDIT: Have you cleared the temp trainer folder, and verified the trainers?

Have you tried manually downloading the trainer from the website and updating the trainer that way?
