“Though we're making progress, we can't precisely pinpoint how much time we will need to deliver the full game. Assuming everything goes according to plan, we’re aiming for a full release out of Early Access some time in 2020, but the most important thing for us is making sure the quality of the final release will deliver on the promise of what Edge of Eternity can be.

Here is the roadmap for Edge of Eternity and they have made some extremely huge progress. Basically the game is in an EA/Beta phase and will formally release in September 2020 but they are past 1.0 and had some huge content updates in January and February 2020. Please take a look at this link below:

In my opinion the game is in the same state as Wolcen an EA/Beta hybrid with final release this year in 2020.
