Just Cause 4 Message Board  

Do the airships only go forward and backward? It doesn't matter what I do, they won't steer. I hope it's not just me. I've been googling "just cause 4 airship control" and related searches, but nothing is coming up.

Hmm, that's odd, they steer for me no problem. Are you using a controller or m/kb?

I am having the same problem I could basically only control the speed of the airship. could not figure out how to steer it, so I just got out and blew it up!

Yeah, an airship control scheme for KB/M wasn't on the list of things the devs wanted to add to this game. Simply put - there are no controls for the airships with KB/M. They are going to add steering in a future update, in a "few weeks": "Fixed issue with steering flying vehicles with keyboard".

Thread is a year old, but I can confirm that the usual aircraft kb controls, w/a/s/d, work fine in the Dec 2019 steam PC version. In addition, Shift increases altitude, and Ctrl decreases it.

I landed one on top of a high rise building yesterday, then blew it up. Great fun.
