Seems to mostly work, but the money and items-in-battle functions won't work no matter what. I've disabled every security program I have (though I doubt they're interfering), followed the instructions to the letter and even played around with the timing a bit. No luck. Although incidentally, the "items in combat" one becomes a tad redundant after using the unlimited crafting one a few times. Also the money is easy enough to find in CoSMOS.
One thing that I'd like to see (I can't outright request a new feature but I'd sure vote for it) though, is one that makes it easier to capture creatures/bosses. After a while I can never get their health to the sweet spot and they end up getting killed by a retaliation or something. There's a piece of flair that increases capture chance so there's a variable in there somewhere to tweak, but I just haven't cracked it yet.
If you use the first option in the trainer all you have to do is defend first person and then all of the enemies will be in surrender mode.
