I see the above question about factions, but I am still left with problems.
When I use the editor to move relevant factions to 1 and save, it resets all factions to their base levels.
What is more confusing, is the game uses a numerical system between -30 and 30 to express faction relationships. Yet, the editor uses values from -1 to 1.
I am probably missing something obvious. Thank you for the help!
First you need to separate between your standing against others and others against you. If you want to make them love you, the best thing to do is to set it to 1 on both sides of the editor.
The editor uses -1 to 1 because it is saved that way. The -30 to 30 is just the in game interpretation of that values.
One thing I noticed though: The trainer does not take short time reputation changes into account. If you attack someone, the faction has a "booster" statement regarding you with a timely limited reputation change. To get rid of those, open the save in the raw editor and delete that line corresponding to the faction
for some unknown reason i am unable to load editior it goes into background and nothing comes up, don't know if i am doing something wrong, i have stopped all anti-virus programs, stopped programs that prob be going against it, it's been basically a year since i played this game, i have redownloaded a few times same problem,
Please make sure you have the following:
dotnet.microsoft.com/download/dotnet-core/3.1/runtime/desktop/x64
dotnet.microsoft.com/download/dotnet-core/3.1/runtime/desktop/x86
I finally got it to work but the trainer doesn't give me a prompt to activate nor do I see anything to prompt activation. The trainer is on my screen but i cannot interact with it.
