As Godly PWizard said:
"You will either see the game go back to active and a new trainer posted or to red for retired once we make a final decision after consulting with our legal team. You guys are all off base for the reasons they are asking the trainer to be removed and why it is being considered. We don't take these things lightly so please give us time to formulate a proper response."
Please keep it in your pants folks and respectfully advise for y'all to just chill with speculations as you are opening up and providing free info on how you may use the trainer/editor or how you have seen it used to where capcom could interpret as "disruptive or damaging or abusive" to their game, least of all vent these speculations on a public forum that their legal team could easily scrub and collect with little research as far as the proof that CH requested for them to show how this is disruptive to the game. Trust in the team - your speculations or lengthy "i think i know what's going on" five cents post doesn't help or speed stuff up for CH. If any, you could be further hindering our chances of knowing if we get the trainer back at all.
I know I'm not only speaking for myself, there 450+ other users utilizing this software. For your and their consideration, please. Be patient. Be Smart. Let them do their job. You don't work for the site. If a founder required your feedback or speculation i'm sure it would be requested.

While I appreciate your point of view, the whole point of this thread was to discuss this. We aren't talking about anything CAPCOM doesn't already know, or have in their hands already. Just like with other trainers, from what has happened first hand, Developers have and will continue to do, is get ahold of the trainers and break them apart to see how they work and try to make a anti-cheats for them. I am almost positive that CAPCOM has done the same, so talking about it, isn't comfirming anything they don't already know. The CH site is public knowledge, and the trainers and editors functionalilty is out there for anyone to see, at any given time. If PWizard or Caliber have issue with how or what we are talking about in this thread, they would have closed it already. I think we are being respectful to them, their work and not crossing any lines here at all. Ultimately, we all want the same thing, a working trainer, and talking about the current issues surrounding that isn't going to impede that process at all imho.

If the trainer does get retired then I hope CH will be kind enough to refund those who bought LIFETIME for the sake of MHW trainer but we shall see what happens.

When you look back in time, it is kind of funny. A long time ago, devs would actually build cheats into their games themselves, or leave beta-test cheats active in the release version. Nowadays devs frantically scramble to build more and more anti-cheats into their games... single-player games, mind you. That is what the whole f'ing internet with its crazy "always on" mentality has done to us. *rant off*
Sometimes, I just feel old. And miss the old days. At least in a certain sense. 😢

@ew2thomas
IDK if you saw kiddo - but the original THREADS (yes, plural - trainer and editor threads) were closed and this one was opened by some guy wanting an update DURING THE HOLIDAY WEEKEND...and Pwizard did say on THIS Thread "You will either see the game go back to active and a new trainer posted or to red for retired once we make a final decision after consulting with our legal team. You guys are all off base for the reasons they are asking the trainer to be removed and why it is being considered. We don't take these things lightly so please give us time to formulate a proper response." But Sure, let's pretend nothing has been said...idk but that kind of spelled it very clearly for me. Specially the "please give us time to formulate a proper response" - i didn't see a please continue to speculate and post how you think this is messing with capcom systems up. Maybe if the message is translated to mandarin some of the bass ackward ppl will understand? 🤔

Reminds me of what happened with Sims 3 trainer. Which was a combo of updating to much, and people complaining. :<

Please mind nesting quotes that bloat your post and use @ instead to refer someone else's post.

Hello, This is "the kid". I never wanted any such thing. I didn't impose a deadline nor demanded anything. I was only hoping this trainer would not be forgotten and kept in the discussion. I posted the thread on a holiday, because that's when I had time to play the game. I am grateful that the admins responded, but, in reality I was not expecting their attention. I hope I didn't ruin their weekend.
