As of 12/9/2018 at around 1pm EST, I was sent a message in-game stating that I was banned for 40 years. The only part of the trainer I used was the credit tool. I used it once, like 2 months ago, on the fresh save file, and that was it. They are maybe retroactively banning accounts. I have never used the auction house on this account, or attempted to use other parts of the trainer while online. No- I didn't do anything wrong using the trainer. A common theme I've seen here is to blame the user. I accept all repercussions of cheating, but nothing ****es me off more than retroactive bans.
I mean you knew the risks when you downloaded the trainer, NONE OF THESE are ban proof especially when the game has some form of anti-cheat like this one. You can't really blame the devs because you downloaded cheats they made and got banned for it.
It seems the credit cheat is mostly the reason for bans? Anyone tried freeze and spin eniemies and nothing else the last months and can still play?
Yes that seems to be the case, I've used the trainer on solo races only for almost everything for months and nothing happened, yesterday I used the credits cheat because I hated the annoying online features anyway and had nothing to lose.
Today I got the ban which includes all the online features you cant even auction cars or publish nor buy liveries.
For me it was worth it because this game has so much to offer in single player mode and tons of cars to buy and drive.. it would've take me ages of grind and buy them all and I don't have that much time I'm afraid.
