Ok, so upon further testing, the problems I identify above have a workaround, kinda. After the coin cheat, the inventory is indeed affected as I said. Saving the game and restarting from the beginning of the level wipes the entire inventory. The items on the action bar remain. Some combination of saving and reloading restores the inventory and the inventory functionality and retains the coins.

Hope this helps the few of us who still hope that the developers will improve this buggy, unfinished game. The game has potential, but jeebus did they shaft their kickstarter backers, not to mention regular customers.

This game is a gigantic unfinished garbage heap, similar to other crowdfunded projects that worm their way onto steam.. It's highly likely that it will be moved to the ON HOLD list soon.

My goodness your garbage heap remark couldn't have been more true. Did the LG staff let all their good developers go and leave this game to be designed by the receptionist? This game is horrible.

Only thing not working with the current trainer is the coins option but since the game is still in development it doesn't really matter much..
