Sword Art Online: Lost Song Message Board  

Can someone

1) start steam in offline mode
2) unplug internet
3) run this game
4) play the game while offline like this?

Otherwise, this appears to be an Online MMO type thing. Just like you can play 'alone' in World of Warcraft, the game has server elements possibly..

Until someone can do as you asked I can at least provide a little more info and an educated guess.

I don't own it (it's on my wishlist for next sale) but I played it on the PS3. It's not any different than the other games in the series which you have trainers for all of them.

The story is single player only and the multiplayer is some tacked on PvP and the ability to fight the story bosses with a group but it's separate from the SP story.

This is actually an older game it's in between Sword Art Hollow Fragment and Sword Art Hollow Realization so if those were offline I'd assume this one is too.
