Hitman 2 (2018) Message Board  

When trying to download 'Hitman 2 (2018) - Trainer 2.72.0' I get "The resource you are looking for has been removed, had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable." Could download 2.70.1 HF3 though.

since the more recent trainers adopted the new CH logo they wont work on my windows 7 x64 PC. I have tried the suggested fixes including removing & reinstalling runtime 3.1.5-win 64 & 86, adding the trainers to exclusions in my eset antivirus, disabling firewall, running as administrator etc. My windows 7 is updated automatically so should have every available update installed, prior to newer trainers being recently added & installed by me (Hitman 2018 / snowrunner / command and conquer remastered / Desperados 3) all trainers worked fine, so whats changed? The error states 'trainer template not working' on all these. Do i need to uninstall some recent windows update or do newer trainers just not work with 7? Windows6.1-KB2670838-x64.msu is the most recent update installed & trainers not working seems to have coincided with this. Is there a workaround / fix that does not require removing this update please?

We stopped supporting Windows 7 when Microsoft did so we have no idea what could be causing your issue. Our trainers aren't specifically made to not work with Windows 7. You can try uninstalling that KB update and see if it makes a difference or not. Your best bet would be to upgrade to Windows 10.

Thanks for clarifying that. Wish I'd known when I upgraded to lifetime that Windows 7 users would be abandoned like this. Too many programs on my windows 7 PC to simply upgrade just like that to windows 10, too many programs just would stop working. Seems pretty odd that one windows 7 update stops newer trainers from working when they were just fine before despite your lack of support, guess it would be an easy enough fix at your end but hey, who cares you have my cash now right?

Also I sent 3 separate support tickets re. this issue & no replies to any of them, & I have checked my spam folder. One disgruntled lifetime subscriber with useless trainers.

PM DragonStryder and see why your support requests aren't being picked up. As far as Windows 10 goes, you've had about 10 years to prepare for and upgrade to it (FOR FREE EVEN!), it's not like it came out yesterday. We can't support everything forever.

deos this work for both DX11 and DX12? i noticed the trainer for hitman 1 only worked with DX11, and it doesnt say anything about that for this one?

Tested it with DX12 without problems.

Anyone know how to disable online mode? don't want to risk a ban, but want to use the trainer! 😀

I don't remember if you can disable the online mode ingame, however, you could just use an internet management software to disable Hitman's in and outbound activity like what I do. Look around on the internet, find one, and do just that.

Or completely disable your internet if you don't want to mess around with your network.
