After the update to 1.2.1 from 1.2.0, I'm unable to set my gold with the End key. I would do this previously by entering the inventory screen, pressing the button, exiting inventory, opening inventory again. I've tried combinations of saving and loading after hitting the key. For the time being, I'm just using the infinite mats/gold features (free upgrades/engraves) because that's still working.
I have no changed my process of activating the trainer or cheats. I have followed the instructions including running both as administrator, opening trainer then game then alt-tabbing, and no flags have been found in my antivirus since updating the trainer version. All associated folders are set as exceptions in the antivirus. I have also tried launching the game through Steam, through Uplay, and directly as admin in Explorer.
Thanks in advance.
I just tried the Gold option and it works here. First I changed it from 99.9 million down to 8.9 and set it. Then I upped it to 16.9 and set it. Worked both times. I confirmed the version as 1.2.1, too.
Try excluding the trainer.exe file directly. I just had one in another game I was having issues with and that got me past it even though I already had the folder excluded. I asked Pwiz about it but neither of us knew why that worked but the folder alone didn't.

That's odd. I actually just reverted to the old version and it started working again. That's actually all I'd been using it for anyway so I guess there's nothing left to complain about. 😋 The only reason I use it in the first place is because I bought a gear set from the store and then they charge out out the butt to upgrade legendary gear. Man, what a bum deal.
Ah, well, sometimes it doesn't much matter how you get there, as long as, in the end, you do get there, right?
😉
Btw, do you have the newest trainer that was just posted April 11th?

Is there any way to purchase items for free? The special items merchant isn't affected by all the gold provided by the trainer. He needs that special currency. Would be great to have an option for item costs to be ignored - it doesn't seem that any existing trainer options can do it.
Edit: Orichalcum Ore is the stuff. Wish it would also go to the same amount that other inventory items do.

Edit again: Damn, found the answer in this thread already. Bitterly disappointed that Ubisoft has forced the resource to behave the way it does.

I hear ya. They're even selling maps of all the locations to find Orichalcum. You also get it on those blue swirl timed missions.
Fortunately, somebody almost always posts maps on YouTube of the same. Like this one for all the Orichalcum locations where you can just go and collect it. This is at the time in the video where they're all displayed on a map:

Ubisoft has gotten so greedy these days, it Wouldn't surprise me if sometime in the future we even have to buy our own characters in the store. Have fun. 😉

Is it not possible to make the game skip the affordability check and just make the buy buttons work? Surely that's the way to go, rather than manipulating the resource itself.
