Even if it is redundant, wanted to inform that Steam updated the game to 1.2.0 (which would explain the 8 requests to update the trainer, so far)

Along with the other suggestions posted, don't select a waypoint. Select a spot beside it somewhere. I usually try and find what looks like a flat spot, like a road.
Teleporting to a mountain with a cave under it will sometimes spawn you in the mountain. I also had a problem teleporting to an unknown area, so I don't do that any more.

Man, I've tried that too, I still can't get it to work. I save my location, I hit Numpad. and nothing happens, but I do hear ACTIVATED.

Direct from the instructions:

Numpad .: Teleport to Waypoint - probably best to make sure you
use the Save Position to Teleport option first, then
press M to enter the MAP, then click on the map to
set a waypoint. This works best if you DO NOT SELECT
AN ICON and just click the ground or a piece of road
that isn't a point of interest. Then press this option.
You can literally instantly cross the map using this
option. Saves you TONS of time and is much faster than
FAST TRAVEL.

I can add that the teleport to waypoint cheat is not working the same as it used to. I've used the last two versions of this trainer before the 4/4 update and while once in awhile the . teleport command might not work, using an in game waypoint then trying again to use the teleport command almost always fixed it this is no longer the case. Despite hearing ACTIVATED 20 plus times and trying to teleport from various different spots the cheat just isn't working the same anymore. I eventually got it to work one time only to then not work again. This is easily my most used cheat as it saves so much time and It's pretty frustrating it no longer seems to be working correctly.


Alright an update. So after redownloading an older version of the trainer and that not working I tried the latest version again. I realized despite the fact that opening the trainer and confirming I wanted to run it from the User Account Control I had not gone under the properties of the trainer and chose to load it as an administrator. For some reason I thought I was running it as an administrator every time because the UAC would always pop up but don't think I actually was. This didn't seem to cause any issues for any of the previous versions of the trainer as all the cheats worked fine including the waypoint cheat but this is no longer the case. You must make sure you are running the trainer as an administrator for this particular cheat to work in the latest 1.2.0 version of the game and trainer. After I did this the waypoint cheat is again working fine.
