Such a shame that malware bytes is auto deleting this and claiming it is a virus. I only have malware bytes because it is the only thing that stops this coinhive from taking over my browser every day. I wish you guys the best of luck on the battle with them. Did you guys assassinate their leader or something with the spear of Leonidas? just kidding. The train works great. I love you guys so much for having this out so fast.
All you have to do is post on the MWB false positive forum and they will remove it from their DB.
When u get a bit later into the game, a resource called orichalcum ore is used to buy this games version of loot boxes. Would be nice to see an option to add more of this resource. I can provide a savegame if its possible.
Can you provide a savegame with this resource?
I included the entire folder for the game, but of course, you can use the latest save. I only have 1 personally thus far.
You can get to the vendor in Pilgrims Landing -Northwest of where the latest save is taken

these loot boxes, is this something that you can buy more of this resource with REAL MONEY at the UPLAY STORE?
I have a feeling that this is treading on dangerous territory.
We know, also, from the last several games in this series, that the savegames are not shareable... I'd have to play more and more hours...
how far along in the game do we get this resource? Where is it spent? Can I see how many I have right now (I am still on the first island)?
best,
Cal
You earn them in-game only. It's another currency and will appear right next to your gold in your inventory. You can access it right after you get your actual ship and start to head off to handle your first assassination mission given to you from the guy in blue.
prnt.sc/l1d31t - Here is location including the starter island
prnt.sc/l1d3ba - The actual vendor is the weird blue icon
I can confirm without a doubt that not only is your currency stored online, but also the price s of the items you are buying.
I looked at this for quite awhile.
There will be no cheats for this currency.
best,
Cal

I wonder if we'll see an in-game RNG loot box NPC like in Origins, where we could use in-game currency from the trainer to get those items.
The trainer causes enemies to die even if I haven't attacked them, it also causes quest givers to die which means I can't receive some quests and I also can't complete some quests. This happens wheather I have the trainer options activated or not.
Yes, as the instructions say, the trainer WILL DEFINITELY DO THINGS LIKE THAT if you leave the option on. Also it explicitly warns you to MAKE SAVES OFTEN.
Notes
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
As always, MAKE SAVES OFTEN!
Numpad 3: Super Damage - works best when you have to defeat
something with massive health. Generally you can
kill enemies with 1 or 2 attacks. This option is best
to LEAVE off unless you have a strong opponent as it
may cause unnecessary deaths of unintended people.
Just use when needed then turn back off.
