As requested by mod to keep posts in the trainer thread, I'm re-posting here.
I'm mildly confused right now and I hope someone can clear this up for me.
I own this game and all it's DLC already and I use Ubisoft Connect because that is their app. Now the trainer requires Ubisoft+ there is not a separate app, it's just their subscription service to access 100+ games in their catalogue and the trainer crashes the game after a few minutes.
So here's me thinking that buying the subscription to Ubisoft+ will somehow remedy my problem, but no. The game still launches with the default exe and not the _plus version of the exe (which I have tried launching manually and still launches the default one)
What am I supposed to do when the game version from their store is not supported because only the Ubisoft+ version was worked on by cheat happens staff?
I understand that paying for the subscription is super beneficial, rather than forking out x amount of money for game, but if I already own it I'm at a loss for the latest trainer versions.
If I use an older trainer, most of the options don't function and latest version just crashes the game every time.
"Crashing game at F1" is usually the trainer overlay.
best,
Cal
I'm not sure if this update was also directed at me or not but I have tried this trainer and it still crashes my game (I have tried the game without trainer - work fine)
This was not a post about rushing anything, I'm happy to wait as you guys always do your best.
If you have bought plus version and the launcher won't run that .exe, I have no idea what to tell you. That would be a question for UBISOFT boards.
best,
Cal
Hi there thanks for the response. No, the trainer doesn't crash at F1, it crashes at a random time from anywhere between 1 and 10 minutes during gameplay.
I own the full game and bought it on release in 2018, I only purchased Ubisoft+ this week to see if that makes the slight bit of difference to how the game launches.
"crashes at a random time from anywhere between 1 and 10 minutes during gameplay."
So you see others here reporting this? I cannot replicate. I wish I had some sort of "thing" to tell you but I do not. Currently I am looking at the new Mirage game, and coincidentally the game won't even run. Frustrations abound.
I own the Steam version of the game.
The trainer was running perfectly in late 2022, when I made my first game.
Now, the trainer just crashes seconds after activating it. I downloaded it again, tried various compatibility options, with no success.

Anyone else with the same issue ?

Hi letarsier59.
Saw you edit. Good thing you got it working. Seems maybe UBI may have changed some stuff then.
