When i extract the files from the Advanced version, Windows 10's "Virus & Threat protection" Reports a "Trojan:Win32/Occamy.C" marking it as 'Severe'

Until i get a reply on this, i'll stick to the "Beginner".
The fact there is no information about AVs reacting this way on the make page of CoSMOS makes me believe you either have a mole or you want to keep this hush hush...

I am getting Occamy.C as well which is weird, usually false positives would show a generic virus warning like hacktool.c or something stupid.

I doubt it is an actual virus since this site is extremely trust worthy but it is really weird that it is picking up a very specific virus signature.

I have gone ahead and submitted it for further analysis with Microsoft to try and get it removed from being a false positive.

I agree usually its a generic mostly 'heuristic' signature. But showing that only windows defender flags it is also a sign of a false positive. Like I always say, we have not much control nor information about AV's detection. Speaking with other developers, also those who develop regular software, in the past revealed that it rather appears randomly without following strict rules. Sometimes they just compiled 100% the same code again and the signature is gone which we did as well a couple of times.

The next version of Cosmos will be signed which will hopefully reduce the false reports. Meanwhile I can just ask to have a trust in us or wait for the next release.

Some games have anti-cheat/debugger protection. You need to specify the game.

Steam's DRM is set to hide the process threads from debugger. For these games if you use a windows debugger it crashes the game as the debugger has no chance to handle the exception. This applies to Cosmos 4 for example.

Cosmos Advanced 5.0 debugger is a VEH debugger. It injects a module into the target process and handle exceptions like it's the process itself. This way, it works perfectly fine with Steam's DRM.

There are however some games that have inbuilt anticheats like Battleye. You cannot use Cosmos on these. But you should also fail when scanning the memory as it's not readable. For this you need to access the memory from a kernel level which requires a driver to achieve this.
