I understand that a few people are able to play but the majority of us are having issues that are the same and are also doing exactly what is asked. Maybe the design of the trainer, I have no clue but I do know most of us cant use the trainer after doing what is asked.

Does the trainer no longer work? did you test it? if so:
Please use the update notification system to report a game patch, update or to report that the trainer may not be working with the latest version of the game. If 3 or more reports have been filed, consider BOOSTING the priority of this title for a faster turnaround on the updated trainer.

Unloaded and tested the new trainer. Unfortunately this version of the game has so many problems (see STEAM forums) that it may be obsolete in a few days.

No version of SOTTR trainer has worked for me. I have tried all the suggestions so far. I download the trainer zip, exclude it in Norton AV, use winzip to extract it, exclude the exe in Norton AV, I run the trainer as administrator, start SOTTR and wait for the main menu, then press F1 on the trainer. I hear "trainer activated". I press num key 1 and hear "activated". I press each one of the num keys I want and hear "activated" each time.
The results are the same is if I had not done anything except run SOTTR by it itself.
Very frustrating as I do not enjoy a game where I die 98 of 100 games.
Running WIN 10 Pro with all windows and device patches installed.

Have you created the scan exclusions for the trainer exe file (or the folder you store our trainers in) and the Work folder (-> C:\Users\YourWindowsUserName\Cheathappens\) in 'Exclude from Scans' and 'Exclude from SONAR, Auto-Protect, etc' in Norton?
Have you launched the trainer with admin rights, activated it in the game's main menu and enabled the trainer options when you are in the actual gameplay? Some options need you to be at camp.
