I've managed to recompile the assembly-csharp.dll file to re-enable the console. I have attached the zipped file here. All you need to do is copy the extracted dll file into the Managed folder under the game root (GAMEROOT\shadows_Data\Managed), and the console is accessible in the game.

I did not know that but I do now Lol. I have added a dropbox link to the file.
The drop box link is still working thanks. Is it a good game it's on sale on Steam and thinking about buying it.
