It's been a year since it was on hold. Is this gonna update anytime soon?
It looks like its still getting updates, I'm using steamdb.info/app/513710/patchnotes/
Caliber posted this regarding it being on hold:

If you think the updates have slowed down enough to try making a trainer you can PM Caliber

I see and now I know and understand.
Is there a minimum of days that the team is looking at to update the trainer? Or just depends?
Thanks and Happy New Year!
Please do not ask for ETAs on a particular trainer as this is irritating to developers (not just on CH but in general this is a pet peeve of 99% of all developers). Rushing development results in subpar quality. Trainers will come when they are ready and there will never be an ETA announcement on any trainer.
Not going to ask about trainer updates, but the amount of early access games I’m seeing the “on hold” caption on it, this, Starsend, etc etc. personally I’ve no idea why EA games even get trainers as they’re constantly classified as - “sorry we’ve stopped on doing these trainers for these early access games as they’re constantly getting updated.”
Yet even full games like NMS and dying light 2, state of decay, resident evil village (which only had a patch a few days ago) etc are full release games and they get a patch for “something” which screws up the trainer to where it doesn’t work. But those still get trainers done.
Just can’t see the logic behind why some EA games don’t get done when even full games get patched and trainer updates.
Starsend, for example, prolly had 2-3 updates since that last trainer was out and that’s well over a year+ old now but “on hold” prolly cos it’s an EA.
Scum has had 3-4 updates in the past 2 months. Just confused behind the logic regarding what get trainer updates and what don’t.
It's a case by case basis. Right now less than 1% of our trainer library are marked as ON HOLD.
Determining factors of putting a title ON HOLD:
Update Frequency
EA vs. Full Release
Popularity of Title
Difficulty Factor in Updating (like a +3 vs. a +53) or did the patch significantly change the game structure requiring us to "start over".
As far as those titles that are marked as ON HOLD, we do not regularly check these titles to see if they can be brought back off hold. We rely on user feedback to let us know that updates have slowed to once a month, etc. Simply request a title be evaluated and see if it can be brought back to ACTIVE status and updated in the game's main trainer thread or via support ticket. Just don't waste time if the game has patched like 5 times in the last 2 weeks, etc. Use common sense and your best judgement to determine if a title really deserves to be taken off hold.
