1st of all, over-priced big time. 2nd, through the whole conference Jensen was too busy pushing and yapping about ray-tracing, he left out pretty much all the important specs and details. When the 10 series was out they told us everything. Something is being held back and I don't know why but it makes them awfully fishy to me. Gonna wait a long while before I even consider them. Besides is ray-tracing all that important, I mean what are you going to focus on, the guy attacking your or how pretty the muzzle flash is on the side of that reflective surface. And if your rig don't have the processing power to back it up most are going to turn it off to boost FPS anyway, just like they do with shadows

Just got a new PC with a 1080ti, perfectly happy with that for now. Maybe one day on the future but not any time soon.

So, what do we have? In the left column I will write the characteristics of the new RTX 2080 Ti, in the right column I will write the characteristics of my GTX 1080ti. Let's Go!
What conclusion can be drawn from here? I'm not crazy up to sell my video card, and overpay 30,000 rubles for a new one, because the new graphics card is more powerful than mine at .... 5-7%? Will I get 60 fps with anti-aliasing enabled in 4K resolution? No. The only thing I can get from a new video card is the "technology of hybrid ray tracing (raytracing)." It uses machine learning and neural networks to calculate in real time only those rays that reach the human eye, as well as improve the overall image. " And "thanks to her in the game will be more realistic lighting and" soft "shadows." And that's all. Is it critical for me personally to have such a function in games? No. For I did not see anything, what it would be worth paying attention to. You can sleep peacefully for a couple more years, and maybe more. Thank you for attention!

As cool as the 20 series will be, unfortunately that sucker is going to be at least $2000 CAD so I am not going to get it any time soon. My 1080 will run stuff for a few more years.
I like to use CH trainers when I stream on Twitch :)

I wasn't too impressed with it for the prices they are charging. I'll likely wait for 1080 Tis to drop in price to upgrade.
Your bitterness, I will dispel

I'm very happy with my 1070 as it is, so no need to upgrade for me for a while anyway :P
