I put a request in for the game. People seem so confused about multiplayer on the Steam forums. There is absolutely 100% not a speck of multiplayer in this game. None, zero. It even says single player on the Steam page and I played for a year on PS4. There are simulated fights and base raids where the AI takes the form of actual players, but it is asynchronous. Completely AI controlled and you have no input. If you die, there is a chance your character will appear in another persons tower, AI controlled. So none of the Health/Stamina type cheats would affect that, because it isn't the character you are playing. It's an AI controlled copy, at least it seems to be. I still wouldn't allow any stat or equipment editing though, that may carry over into another persons game. The game is connected to their server, but it is single player only. Weird design choice honestly, but I guess it has to be done to pull character data for the AI fights.
All of that aside, I don't even know if the game is able to be edited. I feel there may be integrity checks to the server, even though it isn't multiplayer. I guess only time will tell. As for options, the basic Health, Stamina, Money, Durability and Crafting stuff would be nice. Unfortunately they are not allowing cross play or data transfers from PS4. So there goes all of my progress. At least you don't have to pay for PS+ to play now.

This being a FREE game, I have to assume they have PAY ELEMENTS in it, therefore it's highly likely there is a client/server component, which means that it's probably multiplayer network coding, which can limit if we even try to do something with it, FYI
the best test is if you can
1) put steam in offline mode
2) unplug internet from the wall so you have NO connection
3) still play the game
4) still save/earn whatever and then close the game and load and all the new stuff is still in your inventory, etc
otherwise, the game is likely saving/using data online through the network on a server, and is likely a NO no a trainer..
best,
Cal

It is an online game. Like I said, it's connected to their server. But it's still a 100% single player game with no multiplayer elements whatsoever. I did some basic tinkering and not everything it checked to the server. I easily changed the ammo in my guns and it worked just fine. Some things however do seem to be checked, such as gold. So it certainly looks like there would be some limits to what could be done, not everything is impossible though.
It uses a mobile game format. It has "premium" currency which you can earn or buy. It's just paying money to cheat, that's all haha. Most likely the reason for the server checks. But that's the only paying element present. Clearly that can not be edited, nor should it, since it costs money. The rest of the stuff seems like fair game.
Durability and ammo is simple enough. Possibly Health too, but I haven't tried that out yet. Anything done while in the tower has no check to the server, but once you return to the lobby, it resets. I gave my gun a ton of ammo, and it shot well past the original shot count, but once I went to the lobby the counter reset to the legitimate amount. However, once I went back to the tower, the amount was raised again once I applied the cheat. So making edits to anything should work fine, it will just deactivate once you hit the lobby and would have to be reactivated once you hit the tower again.
I understand the no online game policy and stand by it myself, I just feel like this does not fit in that online game category. Hell, Dark Souls has trainers, and that has an entire online component to it, while this does not. I understand that DS can be played entirely offline and this can not, but the cheats can still be used online in DS while no cheats for this game can..since there is no multiplayer to speak of. Just my two cents. I understand if it gets denied, but I honestly think it shouldn't be.
Its coming to PC directly to Steam Platform. the thing is this just mutiplayer or not. as you will encounter other online dead players during your journey up the tower.
It's very similiar to Dark Souls on the "online" part. You will encounter AI that is supposed to Mirror the player that died there that attacks you.
Game looks somewhat pay4convinience more than pay2win cheers
