Technically Dead Frontier 2 is online only. but when you play the game for the first time your enter the outpost which does not have any players its just a window that lets you buy stuff at a shop, manage your inventory, storage, enter the arena (online only). the last option is to enter the WAR ZONE which is where your encounter zombies and other players (ONLINE ZONE WARNING). as long as you use the trainer within the outpost it should be fine unless they changed it completely. if they changed it where you can now walk in the outpost with other players THEN A TRAINER WILL BE NOT ALLOWED.

Can confirm there is "Solo Only" play options however it seems that full online connectivity is required.

If the game use VAC or some anti cheat that can't be disable at all, chance of the trainer is very slim.

Try disconnecting your internet and play the game
before you do that make sure that you have selected in settings lobby only in multiplayer mode

when you connect your be in the lobby and there is a button called play solo make sure your offline before you clikc it

I Can confirm that you can play Dead Frontier 2 in offline mode with no connection by following these steps:

Make sure your connected to the internet
Login to Steam
Before you go offline mode make sure that you can play the game
Go Offline in steam
Play Dead Frontier 2
Go to settings below create account
Scroll down to Multiplayer mode and select Lobby Only
Go back and Create Account or Login to your account
Create your Character and then click play character

When your in the lobby there is a button named Play solo right beside Create game (Server).

Activate the trainer only once your in the game in solo mode only and close the trainer when you want to go to lobby. !!!Never activate trainer in lobby!!! Activate trainer only in offline mode after you enter the game solo mode.

Note: Before you Disconnect your internet make sure you have logged in and have clicked play character, now then disconnect your internet
Also when your in Solo Mode if you (Quit to lobby, Change Characters or Logout) from solo mode without internet connection it will send you straight back to login screen
Make sure you close your trainer before you log into the game

Dead Frontier 2 had several problems..

1) requires log in
2) requires internet
3) is mmo/MP based
4) DOES have single playermode, but cannot be played offline
5) values are encrypted, I never did isolate any values, although freezing a bunch of values allowed me to ‘shoot’ endlessly until the game detected I was cheating.
6) values are checked vs server
7) game literally will call you ‘evil hacker’ and then says you are risking ban if you continue, then closes the game.
8) game is early access on top of it all, and ‘hotfixed’ like 5 days in a row

This game, whether you are tricking it now or not, can and likely will still flag your account while 'offline' and then send the info back when you (by necessity to play the game) actually go back online.
