To follow up on the 4.0 Waypoint release:
The 'Easy Craft/Build/Open' option no longer works.
I suspect this is because they added the customizable difficulty system, which likely changed the settings Aurora was using.
I tried ticking those customizations in game via difficulty settings, but it doesn't behave the same as how The Trainer feature worked before.
eg: w/ it enabled, options like upgrading your storages would highlight and be usable even if you didn't have the required activation/crafting item.
Now that does not happen.
Please use the update notification system to report a game patch, update or to report that the trainer may not be working with the latest version of the game. If 3 or more reports have been filed, consider BOOSTING the priority of this title for a faster turnaround on the updated trainer.
While waiting for an update to be released, you can use our free CoSMOS Gamehacking Tool to easily hack the game yourself. We have tons of video tutorials available for even those with no prior experience with memory scanners or gamehacking tools.

So you are saying it may not work for certain things.. not that it doesn't work at all

Hi guys. The history of this game is pretty clear. It's never going to be a finished game. They released it with 2/3 of the promised features missing. Since then, and over the course of years (7 years) we have had to update and basically literally REWRITE the trainer for this game over and over.
Here is the number of patches this game has been through:
steamdb.info/app/275850/patchnotes/
Here is all of our trainers:
www.cheathappens.com/21242-PC-No-Mans-Sky-trainer
When and if we complete an update to the trainer, it will be the 100th update we have done on this endlessly and tiring game.
Each major update they do things to the overall engine, and when dealing with VR they rewrite the GUI and functions to accommodate, which literally causes us to have to START COMPLETELY OVER, where our notes and our save games are almost no help, and this is with something like 30 code injection spots... end ever growing.
I hate to say it, but we WILL update this trainer yet again for the 100th time, but the time is soon coming where we cannot spend 2 weeks on this game every patch over and over from now until eternity. The next trainer may attempt to give you most if not all the options back, if it's even possible, but note that this game is soon to be put on hold, retired, or the trainer options will be pared back to essential options and nothing more.
I have NO ETA on this old game which will take hours and maybe a week, honestly. It could be next week before this is completed. We have 20,000 titles to support, and new games coming online, including newer AAA games, that need our attention and the 100th update to 7 year old No Mans Sky is simply going to have to be put in the queue under "as we have time". Because this will take time. TOO MUCH time. AGAIN. For the 100th time.
These trainer updates for this game, you need to look at them more as if the game is actually released NEW again with new code and new engine and new functions, and rewritten, and that this is actually not an update, but a NEW TRAINER.
No ETA. We may not be able to reproduce all or even most of the old options. Even Microsoft had to stop supporting its own Operating systems of the past because... well.. there is newer and more popular and bigger things out now that requires their attention. YOu can want it all, and who doesn't! But sometimes you can't do it all.
FYI,
Cal
For games like this, I would not be opposed to providing RC in order to help.
I love No Man's Sky and the work you guys do makes the game so much better.
Is there anything you guys need from the community like save files again or anything else?
