Each game has its own 'memory part' within the collections. Each game is different. MM 1-3 runs within an emulator which cannot be trained (I've never seen any trainers for emulators yet). MM4 is slightly different. We decided to make a trainer for it instead of dropping the collection as its better to have something than nothing.

MM Legacy collection (without X) wasn't trained at all, nowhere. For the same reason. The games within the collection are more than 20 years old. THe developers didn't re-make them, they just put them within one executable.

Then how do emulators on windows, allow trained versions? Can you explain more as to why they 'can't be trained' because that are emulated?

I see what you mean x90, I tried to find some values using the ram map ( tasvideos.org/GameResources/SNES/MegaManX/RAMMap.html ) and is driving me nuts.

As far as I understand it works like if you have a box inside another box.
Every time you load the main program, it loads a memory map, when you load a game (let's say MMX1) it loads its own memory map from inside the program. Making it impossible to train. But 0x90 can explain better.

Emulators basically have one memory function where all values run through and it's unknown for trainer makers to know which values stands for what. You cannot filter them like you can on other games. All values having virtual addresses which makes them appearing completely random (i.e. static pointers don't exist). Without understanding how the virtual machine (emulator) works, you never get a trainer to work. Emulated games have never been trained as far as i know. You can search for the values and edit them, but it's different to make a program working on every computer on every game start which automatically changes the correct value.

If you see someone else having a solution in the next few days, feel free to send me a PM with a link and I'll check this out. As of now you sadly have to deal with the unsatisfying answer of: 'cannot be trained'.
