Disable monitor 2, launch trainer -> Does it show?
No? -> Keep monitor 2 disabled, lower the resolution of monitor 1, launch the trainer, reset resolution of monitor 1 -> Does the trainer show?
1) No, doesn't show. Only the icon in the taskbar, when I hover over it it shows the thumbnail of the trainer window, but window is nowhere to be seen.
2) Nope. Same. I have gone as low as 1600x900 on both of the displays and still no go.
Looks like after the first launch (the first launch with name e.g. abc123 is always fine) the trainer window saves a weird window position. Second (and further) launch - nowhere to be seen. Completely off-screen.
But rename to efg456 and again - one time first launch fine, further launches - completely off-screen.
There has been problem I couldn't solve with the trainers launching off-screen when using a dual (or more) monitor configuration. I know the trainer is working cause I hear all the "activated" messages and so on, but it stays off-screen.
Any clues where the trainer writes the window position or how to force it to run withing the primary monitor?
I am on Windows 10 1709 x64, dual mon (mixed resolution). The only thing that works is to rename the trainer but c'mon!
I would love to have a permanent solution and not a workaround!
I have no idea.. the trainer is simply creating a window using normal windows api call to center it in the current desktop window space..
best,
Cal
