For those wondering. I have tested the Steam trainer with the recently released Window Store / PC Game Pass version. As expected, the trainer will not work on the Windows version. It will see the game running but activating the trainer just results in a error message. I have submitted a request for a windows version. We will see if there is enough demand for it.
I've also put in a request for the Game Pass version.
