one of the lead designers tweeted a few days ago that it can be played fully single player by tweaking your settings. but they also said you might find it impossible to kill many of the bosses and complete stronghold objectives doing everything as a lone wolf. the game settings are defaulted for co op match making. but it can all be played single player if you choose to tweak your settings right. but doesn't mean that they will find hp\shields with a trainer with full release. could be all server sided.
the demo was a co op multiplayer demo. it features none of the single player settings.

You are missing the point. Single player is still going to use online server..
prove me wrong
best,
Cal
You guys managed to bang out Farcry 5 and Oddessy as well as Hitman 2. They all use always online single player Denuvo anti tamper DRM's. Although Farcry 5's was quite a bit more interlaced, If the trainer does not break yours or the devs conduct code. I have faith you guy's can manage it.

Those games don't use a server..
There is free-play mode, which is single player mostly, although anyone can join you, kinda like Destiny 2 public events.
Actually, in the demo, i am not sure if the full game has this, but you are forced into public mode from private mode in free-play mode, it is only possible to play in private mode when playing the story missions for obvious reasons.
Anything else is forced into public, which is a very bad thing in my opinion, either way, it renders the trainer prospect as impossible.
