I too am experiencing the issue with the save game editor. Steam version 1.22. i have added the folder location of editor and cheathappens work folder scan exclusions to my Nod32 AntiVirus. I have tried with the antivirus enabled and disabled. all times, I have opened the trainer successfully, (Ran as Administrator) I click 'Open', Select 1.dat, Click Open, editor then crashes after 1-3 seconds.
EDIT: forgot to mention, I dont use Windows Defender, and have it Disabled/turned off

It uses a different file format now, the current editor will not work. I'll take a look at it but its a 50/50 chance.
